This fad of girls getting their lips filled

Absolutely not for me but each to their own I guess. I’m lucky that my Mrs doesn’t wear a great deal of make up and still looks good to me!

While we are on this kind of subject.. another thing that looks ridiculous on men and women are Turkey Teeth! What the hell is all that about

Good grief
How dare women do something that pleases them?
Do they have no idea that some men don’t like the way they look.
They really should be aw way to check before they choose their body, clothes and body art.
This country is going to the dogs. I’m back off to Saudi

Pankhurst has a lot to answer for

Its the young kids getting it done that's worrying, 14 onwards trying to keep with eith the latest fads, which we all did, but now it's messing with your body

It’s a modern beauty standard. Don’t blame the young women for wanting to conform, blame the social media peer pressure for them thinking they have to.

Twas ever thus
Make up, tattoos, smoking et al

Why the worry?

How many 14 year olds are getting it done in reality? You need to be 18 to get it done and Botox needs medically prescribing so not just any beauty therapist can get it and imagine very few are going to risk getting struck off to work with underage clients. Imagine it does happen but doubt it's widespread since the 2021 law changes

Each to their own for me.

Even in my younger days I was never a fan of women of with loads of make up etc. just not my type.

The lips things is a strange trend but again, they aren’t out to impress the likes of me, and some blokes must like it!

looks stupid but that’s my opinion…

easy to give it anonymously on here but I don’t think I’d ever tell someone they looked ridiculous…

my daughter has often talked about getting it done but is scared of needles… she is, however, stunningly pretty and has no need in anyone’s mind but hers to have it done… I hope she never does but it does show that it’s all in the mind of the person wanting it rather than in how they look to others…

as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder…

There's going to be some devastated girls across the nation as a load of middle aged blokes on a football message board break the news to them that they dont find them attractive.
Of course they shouldn't care what we think and they should do their own thing. Lots of people think it looks stupid. However perhaps there is a forum on fishlipfiller.co.uk where perma-pouting women are wondering why middle aged men like football, or wear fleece jumpers, or don't moisturise etc.

I wasn't happy with my naturally chiselled body so as a treat to me and the wife i've now got a beer belly and a Gianluca Festa tatoo on my chest. She loves it.

Each to there own. I didn't understand popular culture and fads when I was at the age I should, not a chance of me understanding it now.

Remember the gummy grannies in the past.
How withered will these lips look when the filler dissipates in a few years.?

You have a point. I hate the look but was curious about what the younger generation thought.

Slightly different approach but I asked my nephew, early 20s, if he had ever kissed a girls with lip fillers. His look of disgust gave me the answer.

It’s ‘beerholder’ mate.

I have, so I am guessing he hasn't if he pulled a face because you wouldn't really know.
