To be honest I’m not really sure why hopeso never gets banned. All he does is snipe at posters for offering opinions and type ***** like ZZZZ and it’s doesn’t matter if you have him on ignore as his still posts still pop up from
People who haven’t ignored him. If we want the board to be a clean and better one which seems to be what borolad and Rob are suggesting why don’t they just ban hopeso. What does he actually contribute?

This. If you dislike posters for how they write then the ignore function cleanses it for you. I know many don’t want to exclude people but if it’s “depressing” you as one puts it above then it is an option.

I have been posting on this board pretty much since it first started on Jan 20th and been on the old board for about 5/6 years. Don’t know why i am justifying myself to the class clown like.

I wouldn't ignore him Block, or anyone for that matter, I very rarely engage with posters like that but I try to post what people can relate to, enjoy reading & contribute to, plus, I'm better than that

Isn’t hopeso in his 60’s? Imagine being that sad that because a poster is called Block 21 that you call him Blockhead. Oh well, sooner he is banned the better for me. Wouldn’t mind it if he offered his own opinions, I think the only opinion I have ever seen him give is that Patrick Roberts frustrates him

I have had a couple on it but took them off as I still see their posts in which people have mentioned them. It is frustrating though. People like that need removing
 
I have hopeso on ignore and I see absolutely nothing from him. His posts have so little substance or consequence that he never gets quoted so therefore there isn't even a backdoor chance that I'll read anything he posts.
No FOMO for me on that score.

I am not even going to apologize for stooping to the level of ignoring him either.

dood, I think the vast majority of posters have bounced off each other from the beginning, Rob & Borolad have put together a cracking forum, it only takes one or two posters to bring the board down to their level to ruin it for everyone as it becomes a slagging match, in a perfect world & all that but it ain't, so we have to live with it, or leave

I've been enjoying this board much more than the last. You can post things without condescending responses or general grief from someone with a strange online persona.

I hope the tools stay away but I've not noticed anything like the levels of the last board yet.

Will wait to see how it is when the old one finally closes.

Thank you for those kind words erimus74, much appreciated, but as I said earlier, clearly I am not ‘better than that’ I stooped to what I consider to be his level and what's more, don’t regret my comments to him, so no, I wont pretend otherwise. I am sorry for any offence caused to all the decent posters though.
