Great day for the footy. My grassroots team, having been promoted last season, have lost our best player to a broken leg in pre-season, 4 have left to play at a higher level, and 5 on holiday today.
1st game of the season away to last years runners up in this league. 7 1st team debutants, including 4 17 year olds, and we come home with a 2-1 victory.
We’ve got a new pub/sponsor this year, and he does a wonderful pint of TT Landlord.
