been pretty much housebound for about a month due to illness, but thanks to the power of a new course of steroids, am treating myself to TWO pre-match beers tmrw at my favourite boozer, but not feeling well enough to go to the game. fortunately my lad will benefit, and be able to use my ST. happy footy weekend everyone

I've just booked my yearly jaunt to France, which was harder than normal. The campsite has been taken over by another company this year and they have finally got their booking system online. This song reminds me of joining in the local Fetes and boozy nights.

Gonna probably miss France this year unless I can squeeze a trip in during Sept. Busy year ahead.

While I prefer being able to work from home on a Friday, I do enjoy the fact that it's socially acceptable to drink on the Friday night train home (and that there is a great craft beer shop in the station).

Here's my tipple of choice for the journey home, and it's accompanied by a track from my favorite female artist in recognition of IWD.

We’ll just back from Lanza this eve and I can confirm it’s just a bit cooler here. Obviously back on the Sauvignon Blanc which is nice. Off to see Romesh tomorrow night, think that will be decent.
