Evening all, hope you're all looking forward to a much colder weekend and some football, music and beer!

I've today applied for some tickets for Euro 2024 for my visit to Dusseldorf and surrounding areas, so that's got me in fine Euro fettle!

As Heineken are an official sponsor of the tournament I thought I'd tuck into a couple in anticipation of a huge England win (hopefully) with surprise squad member Hayden Hackney scoring a couple in the final to see us to our first major trophy since 1966.



Also, to get us started with some music, how about a Euro winning song to get us going?

Don't know what has me more excited. Next week I'm going to see Madness launch their new album. In Camden. Then this morning I bought a ticket for next September, at Ally Pally, The The. Hopefully that will be new material too

We've got family coming up tomorrow for a few days and neither of them are sports fans. It's going to be a hard weekend for them watching the rugby quarter-finals. I am sure the drink and food will ease their pain.

Tonight, I am cooking chicken breast in balsamic vinegar & garlic and will have a cheeky rum and ginger whilst cooking. I've also bought myself two BrewDog Shore Leave and will give them a try.

Music - I've been listening a lot to Dylan this week Infidels, The Essential Bob Dylan, Tempest, Freewheelin 'Bob Dylan and Blood On The Tracks. The track I have chosen is not everyone's favourite but one I really like.
