* The Unofficial "Official" West Brom v Boro [10/24] Match-Day Thread *

5 goals conceded in 8 matches, and 2 of them from comedy errors that we'll be unlucky to see again this year

The strikers are not firing just now, but I think that will come. In the meantime, the fence is keeping us in it. I didn't think MC could organise a defence this well. This will be vital.
Morris makes a huge difference. The one game he didn't play we were soft as ***** defensively.

The other big difference is that we defend in a 442 now, Azaz gets right up alongside Latte Lath to put pressure on the ball and cut off passing lanes.

Brilliant from Jones when he came on.

Great win for Boro. Just fancied us to win tonight.
Me too actually, dominated the game on the balance of play away from home and took one of our many chances, before holding firm. Baggies fans can take heart that this also means they'll be up there at season end, Typical Boro has spoken!

This is what we need for a promotion push. 👍

Morris is awesome
Unsung hero
Clearly though, that goal against Stoke gave hackers proper confidence and belief and tonight he took it to another level with a brilliant goal 👌

Well now, after a bit of a stinker at the SoL Hackney appears to have had a good look in the mirror and decided to reinvent himself as prime Antoine Griezman, and I for one am absolutely all over that.

Reading this thread back after the final whistle is hilarious. Some absolute clowns on here.

I thought our central midfield was absolutely outstanding tonight. Once Latte finds his scoring boots we could do great things if we continue playing like that.

Hard to believe this is the same side that was so frustrating just a few games ago.

I’m actually feeling optimistic.
