Can I just applaud Hackney on his MOTM award....not because of his performance...but for scoring after Bake off finished....meant I saw it on the big telly....not my tiny little phone screen (the things you sacrifice for your kids)

Clarke's been an important player for us but Edmondson just looks solid.

I think every player has to earn the right to get back in the team, for me Edmundson stays in, Rav was fortunate when he come there was no other fit CB but due to players returning from injuries and manging minutes I suspect a few changes at Watford.

All great options to have, at present we need the guys returning to prove they can stay fit, without Bangura I struggle to see how a 3 would be able to work but just potentially having all these options available really excites me especially Conway and Forss as options from the bench too

I don’t expect a few changes, there is an international break after this game (for some of them!) so expect the same team as Watford will be tough
 
I think we should have the same starting 11 too.

We passed through some very tight situations last night. Was a bit too close for comfort at times, but if we can do that against better sides in the division I wouldn’t change it much when playing similar opposition.

Mowatt finished the season really well with us under Carrick.
He was poor when Wilder was in charge but so was the whole team.

A good, solid player. Glad he's doing well there. Reminds me of Sam Morsy, who was OK here, but is doing really well at Ipswich (y)

He'd been out for ages before he came to us and we definitely didn't see the best of him. He wouldn't get in our side ahead of Hayden or Aiden though so we made the right decision in not signing Mowatt I think, too expensive to have as 3rd or 4th choice.

Yeah cost would be the problem.
He played as a 3rd choice behind Howson and Hackney in 22/23 but I doubt that was the plan when we loaned him.
Barlaser was 4th choice behind him then and still would be now.

I guess if we'd signed Mowatt, we wouldn't have renewed Howson.

Mowatt wasn’t at his best here. But I couldn’t be happier with the first choice young central pairing we have coupled with the huge luxury of Jonnie H in reserve.

Been on the West Brom forum and their match thread from last night, they were very complimentary about us and almost everyone agreed that we deserved to win and we were very good, the best team they had seen at home for them….

Good player is Mowatt! He enjoyed his time here (maybe not so much under Wilder vs Carrick) and from some reports he was voted the most amusing card in the clubhouse👍
