I can't see how refs being interviewed would be a positive step, it would only add to the controversy.

Punishing them isn't the answer either.

I'm not sure what is done to analyse their performance, but he's obviously one of the best referess available at this level, so they need to work to try and improve their performances.

Maybe a league table for refs, with promotion and releagtion could be the answer?

There really needs to be some sort of transparency and feedback from the referees with regard to their decisions. If we could hear their thoughts then we might be better able to unstand some of the decisions. As it is there is just a 'suck it up buttercup' situation where the only punishment is if you go too far in complaining.

They have had the chance to introduce that but they know the refs aren't up to it. For me, get a replay screen at the side of the pitch at least, give the ref's some help, the opportunity to look at it again.
 
Saville was dawdling, therefore had to dive in as he was - as usual - casual.

That said we definitely didn't deserve anything but a win.
 
Saville didnt need to slide in. He was ball watching. If hed been alert he would of got there first without going to ground. The ref should of cost us 2 points but Saville made sure we got nothing. Howson again unconvincing. Terrible ref today. Like beyond bad. But our fault we came away with nothing. Again we give a team a head start and again letting Saville near a football pitch guarantees problems. Everything he does even the slightly good things should be done better. I hope hes gone in the summer
 
I didn't think it was a penalty, and after seeing the replay, it was never a penalty. A game of 2 awful decisions. We were the better team and deserved to win, which we should have.
 
How can refs just walk away from something ike today & not answer to anyone
He's totally changed the whole outlook of the game, the result, the season

That goal stands, we win the game & stay within touching distance of the top 6

Now we have to pick ourselves up, regroup & fight for the remaining points we need

I was always in favour in principle, probably for the same reason. I

t's been implemented terribly but I'd still rather have it than not when it comes to us. Probably bias at play, but feels we get screwed over more than we benefit from crap refereeing.

We certainly 100% deserved to win

NW will tell Saville in his own way you should never dive in like that
He was ball watching & just dived in, the incompetent ref then took over
