Wilders partly to blame, he’s playing a striker on his own upfront who can’t play on his own. Forss has never been able to play the lone striker role.

But so do a lot of teams - for months we get to the last third - have no idea and turn back. There is only Johnny howson who can seem to make something happen.

That means one of two things. Either every team playing us does better than normal when attacking or we defend more poorly than expected so that it is easier to score against us than it should be. By all ways of looking at it we currently have the worst defence in the league.
