Drivel.
We were put to bed by a better team and contributed to our own downfall with poor goalkeeping and defensive play, plus missing sitters. Saville was inexcusable and Assombolonga just needs keeping away from any pitch were playing on.
Drama queen 👑

Drivel = Nonsense

What part or parts of what I said was nonsense?

What is wrong with what he has said?

Unfair

Brentford are a good side but we didn’t take our chances and that put pressure on us WITHOUT FRY and Dikjsteel rusty
Give them a break
We take our chances it’s a different game
We didn’t and against the likes of Brentford we’ll pay for it !!

Whats unfair about saying we were beaten by a much better team and the likes off Assombalonga and Saville were woeful. It’s bang on really not sure what’s unfair about it. What would be fairer?

I'd guess it's the fact he called another poster's post drivel, and then said virtually the same thing but mentioned his usual hatred of Assombalonga and Saville on top of it.

Fair. Never actually read the other posts post to be fair

Boro_Legend has had a bit of a stinker today in that
Neil Warnock has been found out, the most decorated manager in the championship & took us from relegation certs to playoff challengers in 18 months
And
Season over, dear me Legend, even by your standard they're two, massive OG's
Let me get over it. Ask me some other day.

We have to also remember that our best XI includes Dael Fry, and a 100% fit Dijksteel at RB, and Tav in midfield. You can also argue that a fully fit Fletcher up top instead of Britt is our best XI. Add in that Bolaise isn't fully fit, and Kebano has only had 2 training sessions with the lads, then there is a huge amount of room to improve and I would expect it over the next 3 1/2 months.

Not a popular opinion but Assombalonga played well today. Hit the target with his chances and made the keeper work. I would start him again for the next game.

It's all about Tav. Since he was injured we've lost three and drawn one. We also looked poor in the game he was dropped/rested previously.
He provides both quality on the ball, movement and defensive workrate and positioning. Our other players offer one or the other.
We played our three more defensive minded players today and couldn't get a grip of the midfield. Earlier in the season the three worked together well, took the ball off the opposition constantly and the defence was incredibly well protected. We were exerting karankaesque control on the game. They look tired now and aren't doing the same thing.
We can cope without howson, without fry and djiksteel. We can't without Tav.

Well that's the thing. We have no option but to start Assombalonga as we have no viable option Akpom and Fletcher are no better. As for Saville too slow. too weak. needs removing from the starting line up.

That is one of the things that was drivel in your post Jonny.
So too the defence of Assombolonga.
The comment about "light at the the end of the tunnel" was interesting too.

Wow, so I take it that he wasn't unlucky then, the keeper didn't make at least 1 good save from him?

Also, Brit wasn't running around trying to close down the 3 defenders and keeper that were playing the ball around him for the majority of the game?
The keeper didn't make a great save from Brit in the first half which led to the Saville chance, which, BTW, I agree that he should have put away and I said so in a much earlier post in the thread.

In regards to the light at the end of the tunnel, I thought that the creativity and delivery in the final third pretty much eclipsed anything else I have seen this season and I have watched every match.

So, once again.....I ask you what part of my post was drivel?

If you just want to pick appart someone's post just for the sake of you're own agenda, then I suggest there are much more suitable ones than mine.

No Saville wasn't unlucky, he was terrible.
Assombolonga didn't race around doing anything - he never does.
Bolasie was quality - as I have posted since the match on a number of threads. He was encouraging.

I responded to your nonsense post, did so again to clarify and am doing so again.
It is not an "agenda" to call out players who missed simple chances yet again and who played badly yet again.
