The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Rotherham Match-Day Thread

I’m teetering on the edge of wanting Wilder out.

Hopefully a two week break gives him time to sort things out but I dunno, just seems like he’s set in his way and nothing will change.

Sometimes partnerships just don't work clearly the relationship between scott and wilder is broken. Scott's isnt going anywhere so the only option is for wilder to go.

Relegation beckons at this rate I'm afraid...any chance of promotion seems to have gone already.

Dijksteel had a good game overall and Watmore was ok but let down by finishing the only positives from tonight. No idea where goals are coming from

Sometimes it’s daft things that make you realise we really are not very good. For the first half and into the second I was driving along with the listening to the match on Sky on my iPa then I suddenly realised when I pulled up that not once, not once ( I wouldn’t have anyway) had I been tempted to have a sneaky peak. It was like listening to the commentary of some other match when you’re not really interested in the result.

The beautiful game has become torcherous to watch and I can’t see this refereeing improving.
Yet another one today lallygagging the match, showing no interest in keeping the ball moving, refusing legitimate penalty calls and letting Rotherham time waste from the outset. Not to mention the time that he himself wasted shortchanging the additional time and giving player lectures.
In short, the fans are getting nowhere near their money’s worth in actual playing time. It’s time for a stop-and-start play clock. It works quite well in basketball and in the NBA a game has only 48 minutes.

There was no legitimate penalty call. Muniz dived, outside the area. Any contact, which was extremely minimal, happened after he had started going to ground. Not a chance that was a penalty.

Would've been nice to see him not throw himself to ground and actually try and score. That is as big of a scourge on the game than the time wasting.

I’ve responded to this in the Muniz thread.

He so didn't. He was tripped. Prolly not a penalty as it was outside the box ish.

Yes he was tripped Laughing.
I wish I could post the freeze-frame angle inside the box that I am looking at on my TV.
That's why I said probably it looked just outside the box to me but I am open to being proved wrong.

I took a screenshot with my iPhone but got “the uploaded file is too large” message on here.
I’m watching Steelers and Jays now. Will work at it later.
