* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Preston [02/24] Match-Day Thread *

Unfortunately this is what happens when we don’t sign a striker when one is desperately needed, we can play up until the final third and then produce nothing, every time
Also that goal looks like another howler for Glover, unless his vision was obstructed

Honestly, I've almost had it. We're bad enough as it is without having games consistently spoiled by poor officiating. Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes.

If Silvero is the answer, I don't want to hear the question.
I'd have preferred for Silvera to have started tonight, if it would have meant Forss could have played up front to be honest.

How has he not worked out by now that Greenwood isn't a striker?

We look toothless in attack. I’m sure Carrick will say it will come soon and we have quality up top. It’s also not the end of the world because football is football and it is what it is.

We were looking pretty decent until they scored. We’ve lost our way since then. We are desperate for a striker. Absolutely desperate. I still think if we get one we could get 2 or 3. Preston are absolute dogsh*t. As much as we’re struggling at the moment, I’m glad I don’t have to watch that every week. Just a shame our goalkeeper’s hands seem to be made out of smoke.

It's a massive improvement from the Sunderland and Bristol matches.

Fire the bullets at Scott for the lacking of cutting edge up front.

On the whole we've performed at better

That was a penalty for me, Forss changed direction and the defenders arm came across him to stop him being able to reach the ball. This has to be the last time Glover plays ! Almost identical goal to Sunderland
Surely the job of the Ref ass to see and flag it, yeah whatever.

Thought it was a penalty when I first watched it, but Forss was pulling the defender as much as he was being held back.

So flimsy at the back though and our final pass is always slightly off at the moment.
