* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Huddersfield Town Match - Day Thread *

From BBC text:

"Boro have another corner on the left, but yeah, you've guessed it - Huddersfield head it clear.

Jordan Rhodes back there on this occasion covering plenty of ground." (8th corner)

I know I will always care about Boro far too much but they definitely make me feel more miserable than happy on the whole.

If they were a substance then I would hope my family would have staged an intervention by now.

Still, we'll go again next game.

We could have kept "good old Boris" Warnock, lost in the 3rd round at Mansfield, bored our way to 11th and yes on paper no different. In reality its the ride which is part of it.

Ultimately we are not good enough as a squad to make the playoffs. Cant score goals, weak without Fry and Jones, and lack of a decent keeper. Close season we need to put that right urgently if we have ambitions of competing at the top.

Will we still have Jones and Fry next season?

Second best all over the pitch.
Someone famous once said you need to earn the right to play and our pressing, picking up of the second ball and all the other stuff that allows you to impose your game on the opposition has deserted us.

Classic Karanka Esque performance from Huddersfield, solid set up away from home, spine of their team has been bang on.

Must be a Spanish Manager thing…
