* The Unofficial “Official” Boro v Stoke [03/24] Match-Day Thread *

Before today this lot had scored 12 goals in 17 home games. Until they met the mighty Boro and filled their boots - every team we play now sings ‘can we play every week’. Embarrassing

Sort of performance that gets the manager sacked.
I think the accumulation of the full seasons performances do that TBH but it's not quite right to be thinking about that right now unless the candidate is to good to turn down and I don't see it but if performances remain the same until the summer and the ineffective tactics continue then in the summer I would be evaluating the managers ability and position judging by this seasons performances and not the season prior where we also failed to deliver in the end

We are mentally and physically weak, we have lacked pace around the pitch (Jones and Lath injuries have made us one of the slowest Boro teams I have seen) bringing players in from lower leagues abroad with no experience of English football has been difficult to get them up to speed.
We also seem to lack leadership…

So, after criticism of the starting lineup - were any of today's subs any better than the players they replaced?

Doesn't really seem to matter who starts or comes on. The whole squad is rotten.
