What a complete and utter ***show this government have created. As somebody puts it succinctly

Fair play to him for coming out early doors and saying it’s him who’s involved.
I’m going to wait to find out what was said before making judgement. I’m sceptical about the timing that these claims have come out.

He has accused her of defamation even though she hasn’t named him and if he hadn’t gone public nobody would have known it was him thereby dismissing any chance of bringing a defamation claim. He has actually “defamed” himself. Going about all this on Twitter is just well wrong. He's set himself up for ridicule.

Like I said, he knows there’s been ‘conversation’ between them. She’s made the allegation and there isn’t a big pool of people it could be. He’s come out send it’s me so don’t speculate about anybody else, but he disputes what she said he said. I’ll wait to see what he said he said and no doubt there will have been witnesses.

It was reported on the news that he said this conversation didn’t happen but that he was disappointed she didn’t take up the offer of taking the matter to some committee or other to investigate it further…

surely, if they didn’t have the conversation she wouldn’t have needed to have it discussed further..
