Hospital ball from him to paddy too. Both at fault for that.
Think at times we almost try to be too purist in attempting to play the style Carrick wants.

Yes, be brave in possession. But when you're given a ball like that sometimes it's ok to just get rid. Particularly minutes away from half time.

Just a bit naive at times in how we want to play. Although that's maybe a bit picky considering how many fly in at the other end as a result of this style.

I suspect its too do with percentages.

It may be a coach Carter moment and he had told the lads if you play this way, I promise you we win more than we lose.

That’s probably a fair assessment.

We’re still relatively new to this style of play and mistakes will happen as players develop, come to terms with it or be shown to be not good enough for it.

Imagine how good we will be when it clicks all over the pitch.

Well get 1 or 2 more I suspect. I would bring Jones on see how he does. Well I say that because we don't see him in training, Carrick does.
Dunno, by the looks of the last couple of months Carrick will be sending him out to the offy for some cans......😳

First thought at half time was the previous game 4-4.
We’ve also havd a goal chalked off for offside too.

Great double save by Steffan.

Gerrin lads!

Absolutely. I think there's just that room for improvement in the decision making, particularly at the back.

Keeping the ball wasn't really on in that situation. Facing his own goal, not really any options other than a risky pass back to the keeper. It's just recognising there's maybe a couple of times a match where you have to just put it into touch. Plus as I say, recognise the phase in the match too. Just made it 3-0, minutes from half time. There's a bit of game management required too.

But that's the positive thing, we're not the finished product. There are the odd areas we can improve a bit.
