* The Original Unofficial "Official" Boro v Norwich Match-Day Thread *

They’re whining about sportsmanship and not putting the ball out. Will someone get their head out their butt and recognise that when Ramsey went off, Norwich took their goal kick and played a minute against 10 men until we could make the sub. I didn’t see the Norwich keeper refuse to take the goal kick until it was ‘fair’.

Absolutely. I think there's just that room for improvement in the decision making, particularly at the back.

Keeping the ball wasn't really on in that situation. Facing his own goal, not really any options other than a risky pass back to the keeper. It's just recognising there's maybe a couple of times a match where you have to just put it into touch. Plus as I say, recognise the phase in the match too. Just made it 3-0, minutes from half time. There's a bit of game management required too.

But that's the positive thing, we're not the finished product. There are the odd areas we can improve a bit.
I don't disagree tbf. Mcnair was going nowhere. However, if you play 1 way until instructed otherwise, that's the mindset.
