Kane not looked great this tournament but it'd be a brave manager to drop him for the final. England's all time top scorer. He'll start im sure, injury apart.

You’re not really celebrating though, you’re taking time out to mitigate any credit for Southgate because it’s more important for you to defend your entrenched position than to accept Southgate deserves credit for getting to 2 finals in 3 tournaments.
 
Good tactics by Gareth and you could say that about him all the way along on this story. Let’s be honest as GS really made some progress with bringing in players like Palmer and Eze, not to mention starting Mark Guehi which has been an incredible success story.

Then there’s the situation with scoring late goals. We’ve seen it in league football especially when the likes of Liverpool and Man U basically made their whole legacy of winning trophies on finishing strong by hitting stoppage time winners. Let’s hope it continues!!

Yeah but he left him out from start of tournament. He didn't play him right up to the final then drop him. As much as Kane hast been on it, he has still scored 3 goals and contributed to our progress. Kane will start and be the right decision I think. But he clearly isn't fit enough to play 120 mins. He'll play an hour and be hooked like tonight.

I actually thought Kane played well today especially in the first half. In the second he faded but he definitely played better than previously.
