The Friday beer and music thread

Been down the farm today for some Ainsty Ale. Not Coptoberfest 2015. A dog ate an old woman’s sausage roll. She then fell over (drunk) and declared she was off home to watch the tennis. 899690AB-1FC5-477C-B86A-E66B8BAFDB31.jpeg

Went to see TFF in Newcastle last night Woodall. They were ace as was Alison Moyet 👍
Saw them in 2019 and fancied going to see them near Aylesbury a week or so ago as we were over for work but Alison Moyet got Covid so couldn’t perform. I think the Newcastle gig was her first one for years.

Yeah 4 years she said last night.

This is my view from the caravan for the next eight weeks. Arrived at our destination of Mimizan yesterday after staying in Alencon on Wednesday and Niort on Thursday night to break the journey up.

We had a young guy go into the back of us yesterday. Both a little shook up but the car is drivable (bit of a crack on top of the bumper and mark on the boot) but everyone involved was ok.

The young lad was gutted and I thought he was going to cry - similar age to our son. We swapped details and went on our way. The insurance will sort it out.

Drink last night was Affligem Blonde for me and Grimbergen Rouge for the wife, followed by a few Old Lady’s Gin and a very good sleep.

Music was supplied by the camp entertainment that gave the worst rendition of Blondie’s ‘Call Me’ you have ever heard but there’s got to be a downside to everything. 🤣🤣🤣

Not. Jealous. In. The. Slightest.

Glad to hear you're all ok. Enjoy your holiday, sounds brilliant.

Have a great holiday Norman and your choices of Affligem and Grimbergen are top! 🤩

The beer at Hyde park for the Pearl Jam gig was Meantime pale Ale, fairly happy with that, otherwise it was Grolsch!
