The FMTTM experts got what they want.

When was the last game we didn't score at home? Chelsea excepted.

It must have been a co incidence.

Wilder listens to message board experts and pop.

Last time we played a good team at home we didn't score so no surprises.

Watmore played today because Jones was out. Needed someone to run the channel and he's the only one that does it. That probably changed Wilder's plan, not reading this site ffs.

I believe we will be back to our usual 2 starters against Hull, namely Balogun and Connolly. Watmore and Sporah (and the Bedale lad) will be back on the bench as super subs.
Hopefully Jones will be fit.

I’m not sure Wilders team selection was massively based on what Kev from FMTTM thought was our best front 2.

A front two without CONNOLLY and BALOGUN our first loss at home in 9.

We get what we wish for.
Interestingly it was the first time we have started without a wing back on both sides. Or did you miss that?
With Bola on and Tav switched we played the runaway league leaders off the park, had 15 attempts on goal and really should have won the match. Both starting strikers ended the match - and strongly.

None of our forwards would have made much of the 5-3-2 we really played. Wilder got his team wrong, but not up front.

I never heard the experts on here not asking for wing backs, but the front two there were threads about it.

It should put a smile on their faces.

I always think its best to hear other opinions as a balance

'After last nights performance i am positive Wilder is calling it right with having Watmore as a super sub. Doesn’t have the same level of impact when he starts games as he looks like he’s trying to pace himself for the whole game so he can last it and doesn’t look as bright and explosive. When he comes off the bench he just absolutely goes for it for 30 minutes and frightens the life out of the opposition.

Connolly and Balogun Saturday please and Watmore to come on and make another significant impact with Coburn too. Sporar 5th choice for me now.'

Genuinely have no idea what this is meant to mean.

Everyone appears clear we have done well with wing back system. Are you questioning that or not?
Last night we had no wing back players at wing back until Bola came on and Tav switched. Did you see that?
Both Sporar and Watmore played the full match and we finished like a train.

There will always be threads about our front two. We have 5 players.
We didn't miss Connolly or Balogun last night and neither got on. We missed wing backs.
We have a hectic Easter weekend approaching, I suspect they'll all get game time between now and the end of the season.

I agree on wing backs but this thread us about the no all's know all's saying for months that Wilder has been playing the wrong two upfront. He wasn't.

Have you changed your mind again on how Gibson is running MFC, is it badly this week or is your original assessment of him not knowing what he was doing still your position?

This thread has developed since you expressed an opening opinion, and has succeeded in identifying what the problem was last night - a lack of wingbacks for the first hour.
Once Bola came on and Tav moved to the RWB we tore them apart. who the chosen two forwards are was immaterial. Effectively Wilder picked the wrong set up.

And to say that we shouldn't count not scoring against Chelsea because they are a good side and Fulham aren't just shows what a numbnut you are.
