Up against it now. I wonder if Australia will declare in the third sessionStokes bowling with 4 frontline seamers toiling. Doesn't look promising at this stage.
Bit early to say that. But yes, we need to rescue this situation after tea.Called it last test and got crap for it....
Ashes disaster.
There is. A bit worrying that Jimmy has made no mark on the series as yet.Right little pitty party going on in here.
Cheer up lads, it's not T20, plenty of time left in the game and series.
Hope I'm very wrong, but has time caught up with him .....or two flat, not particularly seamer friendly wickets making him very average? There is. A bit worrying that Jimmy has made no mark on the series as yet.
I don’t think Jimmy has ever been “very average” and there’s still time to make his mark on the series, assuming he keeps his place! Surely we picked him for this test thinking he would suit the conditions? But yes, nowt from him so far.Hope I'm very wrong, but has time caught up with him .....or two flat, not particularly seamer friendly wickets making him very average?
Wouldn’t quite go that far. It could still be 5-0 or 3-2 or anything in between. If we go 2 down I wouldn’t say the series is totally over although anything better than a drawn series does look unlikely (if we lose this match, which we haven’t yet). The only hope for the series is a draw this match otherwise it’s series over
Our best bowler, in a side with 5 seamers. And another, Root with two wickets.
