I don’t think we were “good” compared to other games recently, in fact I thought we were pretty shyt first half. Checks and balances needed just like they were against Burnley.

Honestly you must be the most depressing poster on here. There was plenty of quality on the pitch. Our 2nd goal had 3 bits of pure quality
 
Blackburn rarely pass anyone off the park these days anyway, they’re simply not set up that way … they play very very direct into the channels for Gallagher and Brereton

You think Championship sides have very little quality compared to who? Its probably in the top ten leagues in the world in terms of standard. Out of hundreds.

I don't think the state of the pitch helped at all. It's hard to get a passing game going on such a dreadful surface

I've praised them plenty of times under Carrick I've praised them again tonight for their resilience any win at Blackburn is great but I think any neutral would find that game a scrappy affair the pitch and ref didn't help.

Forss' finish was outstanding. When was the last time we had a striker who smashes it first time on his weaker foot in the box from a tight angle like that, rather than take an extra touch and turn back inside! Lad comes alive in the box. Felt sorry for him playing wide right ,clearly not his position but 1 goal and 1 assist. cant complain.

Wasn’t his weaker foot mind but completely agree it was a superb finish. He’s right footed
 
We struggled playing crooks up top as we missed Forss' press from the front. Morton had far too much time and space to dictate the game first half. Their goal came from the other deep lying centre mid having all the time in the world to play through us. Thankfully didn't hurt us though due to a much improved 2nd half
