Tesla manufacturing plant to be announced tomorrow..

If true would this explain the local investments in battery technologies snd the subsquent share price rise of that particular company?

Or so I've heard.

Fantastic news for the Tees Valley 👌
Where have you heard it? Not that I'm calling you a lair but...

Also I imagine this thread will ignore the fact the first European factory is being built in Berlin and people of a, ahem "certain mindset" will claim its a benefit of you know what.

To be fair to Houchen he's delivered on pretty much everything he's said.
He hasn't said anything yet has he? It looks to my like someone on a message board has pre announced something that he may or may not announce in an announcement.

The information I have came from local business leaders and I have no reason to doubt them or believe that they would make it up.

If it's wrong then so be it but time will tell.

I appreciate that we have a few doubters or people already ready to tear down the thought of it but of it turns out to be true then hopefully they'll be just as happy to give applause and cheer at what would be a major announcement.

Ah those unanmed "local business leaders" God bless them.

I would be very suprised, I have a client who is in charge of setting up the new Berlin plant which is set to open in July, they are also building a secondary plant in Germany (can't remember where) in 2 years time, he said that they weren't looking at any investment in the UK, they had been rebuffed by UK governement over incentives and training programmes, he said they decided to 'leave the british to make combustion engines'

Did you seriously expect me to name people that have provided me information.

Get a grip small town and as usually you're the negative one.

I won't respond to your drivel any further as you'll just end up back in bully mode. I'm surprised you're not barred.

Good day.

Don't be surprised: "local business leaders" have told @ChrisTheRed it's true.

I must admit I'm hoovering up Tesla news and it's caught me by surprised too. Hopefully he's not lying this time. Although a pound to a penny says it's because of Brexit.

Dunno if it's been mentioned but I got his FB message today that said.
If you think this week has been good for Teesside just wait for tomorrow 😳
