Bought a packet of Kale last Thursday to use on Friday as we had guest around. When I opened the bag there was a three and a half inch dead locust attached to the stem of one of the leafs. I’ve tried to obtain an address or email address for Tesco to complain today but they don’t appear to have that function available anymore.
Appalling customer service and the experience spoilt our meal. I haven’t got the bag or insect anymore as it’s in the bin although I have plenty of photos. The kale was from Spain. Any ideas about getting a refund/compo from them?
 
If you bought it in store take your photograph evidence in with your receipt, all stores have a customer service dept. and tend to be accommodating. Mrs Easy worked in that dept for 22 years. Also, if you have a claim for recompence you should take evidence of your losses. You should at leased get a replacement and as its a health issue maybe a compensatory voucher. Ya never know, try sweet talking them.
 
How much was it? 80p-£1? im guessing you’re after a bit more than compo? Just twee your picture on their Twitter account, they might send you a voucher 🤷🏼‍♂️
