Clarke has been very rusty, so Fry has to start. Bangura could come in for Engel, but I doubt it. Then Rogers may get the nod ahead of Greenwood but again I doubt it.

and there is no comparison between Lath and Coburn.

Think Fry will start over either Clarke or Dijksteel, and think Silvera will be on the bench ahead of either Cartwright or McCabe

He has only ever played for Boro injured, or returning from a major injury, so bit early to make a judgement on him. Been POTY at all his other clubs and proven at this level. Based on his performances at other clubs, before the seasons out I reckon Clarke will be our first choice centre back.

Crooks, although limited, plays far far better with genuine width or runners in and around him. When the two playing either side of him are Greenwood and Rodgers he looks like a fish up a tree. Having Jones back alongside him tonight will improve him, if we had a RB that could bomb on, even more so
 
As long as Clarke is not playing, I'll be happy. He moves the ball so slowly and turns like a tank. I actually think after the whole wilder left footed centre back malarkey, it is obvious that actually having a right footer at left CB, like McNair, is actually better especially as we want to play through the middle of the pitch. Having a left footer forces the ball wide to the LB too often.

clarke was injured in his first game for us and played on a few times ,,, his debut was really good
 
Fry and Clarke together look like they tred water , Rav with Fry in the middle is a better option . Dijk will need to up his game he was woeful at Leeds ... looked like a rabbit in the headlights

I thought Lath looked threatening at times coming in from the left side against Ipswich. It would be interesting to see how he would perform playing in that position.

I also think he'd benefit having a striker who he could play off.

It will almost certainly be the below, unless Dijksteel plays right back and Rav partners Fry in the centre.

I quite like this team, always thought that Jones and Crooks link up very well on the right and plenty of goals come from that. With Engel attacking on the left that's a pretty positive team.

Would think dijksteel will come back in and Clarke drop to the bench maybe, just to manage his comeback as we dont want another injury, wouldn't play greenwood think his performances having been great to be honest even though he has a couple of goals but then the options are limited as above if coburn could play drop lath on the left and have coburn through the middle, there is also a call to play bangura and engel on the LHS as wasn't engel playing as a left sided forward player before he signed could give him a better foot hold in the game having bangura behind him.
