Team for Millwall

Just the job for Crooks up front. Guaranteed a goal at least, and a yellow card. Come on Crooksy.
 
I must say Silvera is very close to contention in my head. Maybe have him on bench and bring him on, and give him a start at Huddersfield in the cup.
 
Jones seems to have had an encouraging pre-season so far, so I'd start him on the right and play Forss up front.

Full-backs and midfield is a concern. I know Barlaser operated as a sitting midfielder at Rotherham but was he more of a deep-lying playmaker?

I haven't seen any evidence to suggest he is capable of playing effectively as a defensive midfielder whilst he's been here, so I fear we could be badly overrun in midfield with him and Hackney playing together.

We could be, but haven’t really any other option have we ? He’s done ok in pre season and Payero isn’t particularly suited either

Yeah, that's the issue. I hope the club have some targets for the defensive midfield role because we're not going to be able to rely on Howson for the full season.

Agree, I’d happily cash in on Payero personally and replace him with a proper DM. That’s just me though.
