Swansea (a) 16th Dec:

I will be making my first visit in December, I have been to Cardiff a couple of times and if its half as good it should be a great trip!
I'd say it's not as good as Cardiff, but still a fun away trip. As mentioned by poster above Wind St has loads of bars on it. It gets really busy in the evening (especially in summer)!

Only 2 blocks are available to buy at present out of 5 blocks and just over half of those 2 blocks sold to the 180 point plus gang. so far.

The game comes at a bad time with a lot of games in December and this one is 9 days before Xmas.

My guess is that we will not sell the 1,900 available, sold nearly 1,900 for Bristol City, but a couple of away defeats since that and above, suggests we will not match the Bristol number.

Thanks RW. That’s kind of my thinking. Hoping and expecting it’ll reach general sale

Watch out for - 2 years ago they only sold 2 blocks despite have more potentially available, so it ended up with about only 20 tickets available on general sale.

Best advice for general salers is buy immediately they go on general sale - if you can.

@ 12.40pm there were 301 tickets left in the 2 blocks that are opened - my guess is there are 3 blocks that are reserved but not released. Sales will never hit 1,900 for this one. A game for the hardcorers and Boro fans you don't have a long distance to travel for it.

General sale now on. Currently circa 150 tickets left (in open blocks). Other blocks could become available I guess?

I doubt we would sell more than 150 further tickets - my guess it will be 2 blocks only - probably approx 800 to 900 tickets. The "season ticket holders have everthing" brigade can now buy at will.

Not the trendy trip that Plymouth was - Swansea is a 638 mile round trip in mid December.
