Swansea (a) 16th Dec:

Thanks. Yes, they've been slow in the past, but given that the game is two weeks on Saturday, I was starting to think I might have missed it! - Pretty sure it won't sell out, so I just need to keep checking the MFC site.
Yes, I would anticipate the lowest turnout this season, given the distance, Xmas approaching and sitting between Leeds and port vale away.

Caught COVID at Swansea last year - the weather didn't help, and had to stay over an extra night. The nightmare still lives on I'm my mind so missing this one.
Remains my favourite away destination - although Dec 16th not ideal time of year to do it but I do recall going there just before Xmas a couple of years ago and buying some Xmas cards from a stall in a church hall.

Not been. What makes it your favourite Rob?
The location - Swansea Bay, The Mumbles, really informal family-type restaurants on the bay, Dylan Thomas house in the town, the Waterfront Museum, the different parkruns, site of Vetch Field, St Helen's ground where Gary Sobers hit 6x6, castles, archaeology nearby. Fans Trust part run the club so they are mega helpful at the stadium to 1st timers etc. And places to stay on the M4 that make it very easy.

My lad is at Uni there. It’s a top place

Agree with this, I also find it to be one of the friendliest places to visit, people are great from my experience and the accent is a joy to listen to !
The Gower peninsula and Rhosili bay are beautiful too. Making me want to go again now

I have never been into the centre of Swansea. I have visited the University with prospective students of mine, the Library staff are trained life guards, as the Library car park is next to the beach. The City was very industrial in the past, like the Boro. Swansea was famous for its copper and tin plate works. Alot of the Cornish/Devon copper and tin was processed there. I usually drive in off the M4. There is a big Morrisons with a cafe, near the Stadium useful for lunch. I have had a nice holiday in Pembrokshire which is only 40 miles away.
