All that, but the strength and coordination needed to throw the ball in NFL games is incredible. Joe Namath, the Jets legend, could throw it 50 yards at a very flat trajectory. If you didn't catch it cleanly it would just about take your head off. His range on hail marys was 65+ yards.

His arm strength was astonishing. He could throw a baseball about 100 yards (centre field fence to 3rd base) and a tennis ball about 70 yards. Most cricketers can't throw it to the wicket from the boundary on the fly, I'd guess Joe could carry the wicketkeeper by 30 yards.

When Favre the last of the old gun slingers moved to the jets from Green Bay the jets WR we’re complaining how fast the ball was and I think one broke his finger in pre season trying to catch it it was that powerful.
 
Find all the anger about Taylor Swift being shown a few times a bit funny and pathetic really. Like it’s so nothingy and inoffensive that seeing people so wound up that they actively root for the 49ers entirely because Kelce doesn’t play for them 😅 Do the same people get wound up watching Wimbledon when the camera cuts to Judy Murray or Kim Murray every few minutes?

Also always find it funny when people who at best watch NFL once a year start trying to pass comment on players ability like they know what they’re on about. Last night my mate was like “this Mahomes guy is absolutely sh*te!” and it’s just like… yeah, only already considered one of the best ever quarterbacks at only 28, winning his third Super Bowl 😅 I’ve watched plenty of the NFL over the years and I still don’t even really know how to properly judge how good most of the positions are. Even the ones I do is as basic as it gets. Like quarterback, cool under pressure, good arm, good vision, probably good. Running back runs fast? Probably good? Kicker kicks far? Decent. Cornerback? Defensive end? 🤷🏻‍♂️
