Yeah but mackems though! What big matches have Sunderland had in the last decade?! That is a hard one!
 
I've had nowt but complimentary messages from mackem and geordie colleagues and friends. There were only 2 of us smoggies watching in the pub (low fell) last night and everyone congratulated us at the end. Still fūckín hate geordies though
 
Let's be honest they're not really rivals at the moment, they are absolutely miles behind us as a club.

Things might be different if we were in the same division.
 
Sunderland is about 25 minutes from Teesside if the traffic is good, but of course Boro are not rivals!
 
What's the score with the poster on there called Hank Williams? What a bizarre character he seems. Lives in Eston and for a long time but has a persona of hating Boro. What a bloody idiot.

I dont understand that one bit, fair enough people can dislike who they please but to live in an area you say you hate, strange sad character

They wind him up by saying he's a Boro fan, so to counter that he goes out of his way to display his hatred for us. It's one of the reasons many of them responded to the thread he started by saying "Up the Boro".

It's quite funny really because he's incredibly easy to wind up and takes the bait every time.
 
thats nice the mackems cheering us on last night. if any of the scruffy meffs are reading. i would really like sunderland to get promoted. all 3 NE teams should be in the premier league. if you were in the cup at old trafford i'd actually want you to win to, but if it was barcodes. dont think i could cheer them on.
