Stuff you've had nicked

A car, 4 hours after I had bought it.
I was burgled once- all my possessions from the living room and even the food from the cupboards in the kitchen
Car window smashed and radio taken out (twice)
I'm glad I didn't live in a rough neighbourhood.

Our house was burgled when I was a teenager and they nicked all my Boro shirts. The one that really hurt though was my Boro FA cup final shirt.

Still annoyed thinking about it now.

stuff i haven't had nicked include my backpack, somewhat dissapointingly to be honest. Went to an all night D&B rave (LTJ Bukem and Fabio & Grooverider for those that may be interested) in a club in Brixton in the late 90's. We went back to the car at about 8am to find the back window of the fiesta smashed and the boot open where all our bags were. everything was taken apart from my bag which was a bit of a paradox - was my stuff so crap they didn't want to take it? i did have some D&B 'graffiti' painted on my bag, maybe that's why :)

We got our camera nicked in Cuba by a cockney guy. I pulled him about it but couldn’t prove it.

It was an all inclusive holiday and every time I entered a bar or restaurant he walked out. It ruined his holiday and we managed to buy a new digital camera. Not an easy thing in Cuba.

Also had Levi’s pinched off the line, 2 different cars twoked, stereos taken out of cars and the house burgled.

Getting the house burgled was the hardest thing I have ever had to get over. Unbelievable how it impacts on your family. They also spray painted the dog.

Quality👍

I actually used Bernie in an argument with an Irish mate of mine. He was moaning that Rice and Grealish were 'Irish' and shouldn't be playing against them for England.

I basically said 'you'd have anyone'. I asked how Irish Aldridge and Mcateer were? 😂. Then threw Bernie under the bus and said 'don't get me started on Bernie Slaven' 😂

Grealish was born in England anyway, as were his parents, though 3 of his grandparents were Irish.

Rice also born in England, with English parents though he has one set of Irish Grandparents.

Hard to claim either are outright irish.

Nova SR from Low Fell, Honda 100cc motorbike from Easterside, attempted to nick my Cavalier Lx from Acklam but we chased them as they were pushing it down the street. They nicked the leather jacket off the front seat. A stereo from another car from car park behind Old Mint in Boro. A sat nav from car on my driveway in Marton. Yea everything was hidden away in glove box

How was the dog Norman?
Seems an absolutely random thing to do to the poor thing. Hope they met justice at some point.

Life stole my dreams.!

some nike air Cova windrunner trainers (brand new, only worn once) from my school bag as I played footie.

An axo-sport moto-x top from beside the pitch as I played football.

my wife. (I wasn’t playing footie at the time!)

A car stereo out of my first car, I was asleep drunk in bed, the damage didn’t lower the value of the car but the loss of the stereo halved it 🤣

The dog was never the same again and lost all its confidence around strangers.

There was a gang of young lads that tortured the neighbourhood and I had spoken with a few of them prior to us getting broken in. After the burglary the living room had sad faces sprayed on the walls and tele and the dog had been sprayed with black paint, which made him look like a skunk. They also squirted him in the face with WD40 to null his senses.

The next time I seen them I was on my way to the Boro v Leeds game when Ince scored that fluke goal past Martin. I was all suited and booted and going in one of the hospitality suites. Shall we say they helped me with my questions and I was able to eliminate them one by one from my enquiries before straightening my tie and going on my way. They never caused any more trouble on our estate.

A Marshall 30w bass amp, off the back seat of a car while on the car port. My fault as I couldn’t be bothered to tote inside and thought it would be ok.

A ridiculously cheap and nasty boombox I used to keep in the car for sounds after the car stereo gave up.

A couple of bikes, one inexplicably beamed up from a locked bike shed.

A lovely 30s brass lighter I found in the attic and polished up, nicked off a pub table while I was having a slash

Having something stolen from you is never your fault, it’s the fault of the thief.

Tut,Tut,, dear me

I got my Raleigh Arena bike nicked from outside Maude's newsagents in Normanby. There was a lad who lived near me who started riding around on one soon after that; probably total coincidence but I always assumed he'd nicked my bike!

2 Ride on mowers on the same day.
One was over £12k to buy new (not that we had).
We put electric gates on our property shortly after and moved where we kept our Garden equipment.
We are confident it was somebody with knowledge and tied in to who serviced/transported our mowers.

Am still annoyed by it. We managed to buy a 2nd hand replacement for the gang mower and simply didn't renew the smaller one.
