Stuani

People hark back to Bamford as our biggest loss of the last 10 years but this guy was criminally played out of position and then sold.

Monk should be utterly ashamed of the job he did here. Without signing a single player we could've had a line-up following relegation of:

Dimi

Fabio........Ayala...........Gibson..........Friend

Traore..........Clayton.......Forshaw.........Downing

..................Stuani.............Bamford...........

With of course fees brought in for De Roon, Ramirez, Barragan used to strengthen it (if rumours are true could've sold Gestede and got our money back on him too). It didn't need ripping up and starting again. Any half competent coach would've recognised the quality they already had. Instead Monk was like a kid in a sweet shop, couldn't wait to spend money.

I think Dimi was past his sell-by date at that point but can you imagine if a competent manager like Wilder had these players plus, say Randolph, Braithwaite and one other. We would have smashed the league.
To be fair to Gibson, Monk looked like a good choice; young, progressive, some experience and indications that he was turning into a decent manager. Someone though needs to have looked at the players and said this is 80% of the team that got us promoted and can do it again rather than ripping it all up and starting again.

Why has he tweeted that? The only thing I can think of is because Stuani liked some tweets today about his time here from the Gazette - not sure why they randomly decided to tweet about him though.

am sure Bamford scored on the final home against Southampton
He scored against Burnley in 1-1 did Bamford in the premier league. He made Dyche look like a poor security guard in the Dundas Acarde who failed to stop a shoplifter.

I can actually understand why karanka played stuani in the right. He liked one attacking winger and one winger who was a little more defensive. Stuani scored a fair few goals attacking and arriving into the box. He had a philosophy and it got us promoted

Personally I’d have played stuani upfront as he was the best goalscorer we had
