Storm Babet photos

Had the dog out earlier on the local field. The wind was really picking up and driving the rain nearly horizontally. We lasted about 10 minutes before I got sick and came home. He'd have happily stayed out catching his ball though.
Our dog is an utter fanny!!! If the rain's too heavy for him (by the time he gets 2 houses down the road) he turns round and comes home, also won't have a coat on. And when we come in he goes straight to the back door to be let out in the garden....because he thinks the weather's going to be different 🤣🤣

we have a dog that does exactly this. He's a tw(i/a)t

Had a ride down to Naburn Lock south of York, there is a lot of Ouse. Not unusual.

A "bracing" day at Whitby. Love watching storm waves crash over harbour walls and such (from a safe distance)

On the subject of dogs and the rain, my dog isn't bothered at all "a walk is a walk", but my daughter has a Corgi who flat refuses to go out in the rain just lies down and looks up at you "you're jokin' arn yerr?" style.
