he's last on the list, but why on the list? Because he's the only person to score a hattrick on their prem league debut, he is the only Boro player to score at Wembley, he is the only Boro player in 84 years to score 30 goals (league and cup) in a top flight season. He doesn't have the longevity of course, and he was a complex character, but he raised our profile, got some records, had bits of success, and taught the club how to be a big club with proper training facilities.
