Steve Gibson

Don’t you dare question Gibbo or Bausor. Nothing is their fault. Parmo. Transporter. Blame the foreigners. Chris Rea. Steph McGovan. Everything is fine. Bed wetters!!!!

Gibson was untouchable in my eyes for my entire lifetime but nah not anymore, the club is an incomptent joke. One of the biggest attendances in the league, 2nd most expensive tickets and we've ended up with that disgrace on the pitch.

Don't blame Wilder, don't blame the players, it's those at the top that need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Spot on.

Years and years of negligent management

Gibson doesn’t buy the players the F***ing manager wants. The fact downing came back when it was obvious karanka didn’t want him is evidence he doesn’t

Give the manager a wage and transfer budget and get them the players they want Gibson or try and sell the club and **** off . Payero , forss and hoppe . Just 3 players alone last 2 seasons that managers didn’t want and we’ve wasted millions on them and will get next to **** all back most ljkely. Then we’ll be told how lucky we are that Gibson pumps a million a month into the club for a mess of his own making

He’s picked 5 managers in 5 seasons. He’s picked the full recruitment team. And we’ve ended up with this excuse of a team. Who else is responsible?

Gibson will be wrong until he gets it right, and eventually he will get that wrong too and the process of blame will start all over again until he eventually calls it a day.

We've had good manages fail, we've had good players look average and today, 11 players who couldn't be bothered, playing in a formation that clearly doesn't work for us.

Gibson has faults and has made some poor choices but he can't legislate for decisions made on the pitch and performances like that.

At the end of the day, no amount of us as fans moaning about Gibson will bring along someone with the finances to buy him out, which as we've seen more often than not, doesn't always bring success either.

Sorry mate but this is a load of rubbish. He can legislate for it and he hasn’t. He’s the one that’s picked the managers. They’ve all failed. He’s handpicked the recruitment team. They’ve failed. You can’t control everything and you can’t guarantee anything but what you can do is make competent decisions. The last good decision he made was appointing Karanka. That was 8 years ago. He has made **** decision after **** decision. I’m grateful for his money but you can’t argue that his decisions have got us here.

Gibson picked the managers
Gibson picked the recruitment

If both aren’t good enough then who does it fall on?

He's simply not investing as much as he once did we've turned into a selling club selling Tavernier on the eve of the season beginning has destroyed any hopes we have had for this season in my book

The club would instantly set fire if Gibbo left. In fact the whole of Teesside would fall into the sea. That’s a fact, ask the Boro dads. We should be thankful he charges us so much money to watch this, imagine how bad it would be if he didn’t?!?

It's a totally irrelevant argument to make, he will continue make whatever decisions he does until he doesn't.

He's made mistakes but he also puts his money in to give us a club to support.

He's not going about intentionally picking managers who turn out to be rubbish or too stubborn to adapt if we don't get in the players they want.

What do you want from your blaming, Gibson to walk or put us up for sale? Then what happens if the new owner gets it wrong?

The grass is, and has been shown many many times, is not greener on the other side.

We are not going to attract some super rich owner to Middlesbrough over and other club that someone like that could pick from.
