Steve Gibson calls for urgent help from the Government and Premier League for EFL clubs

No consolation to a footballer and his family of his employer goes to the wall because it is not allowed to seek Government support as with many other sectors. You are getting into dangerous territory when you start discriminating against a company because of the sector and perceived wealth of its owners/shareholders. Means testing I think you are advocating for government support. So for example we shouldn't give money to any music venue owned by a wealthy shareholder?

Again.... it's similar to the Music Industry letter to the government asking of help - they've made MILLIONS and MILLIONS - again Limited Companies let the owners sort it out ... that's what CAPITALISM is
 
Are you advocating slashing the budget of the NHS, the police, the justice system, social care etc etc etc whilst at the same time funding an industry which has billions upon billions of pounds sloshing around in it. It's an absolute obscenity.
I don't really see how a music venue is comparable.
