Steve Cooper

Seems a bit harsh - they've got a clear bottom 3 squad so not really sure what they're expecting prior to Jan. The fact they're outside the relegation zone would point to this being a poor decision. They've got a much worse squad now than the season they got relegated.

Latest odds. Potter would be a good shout but seems as though he thinks hes destined for better things.

Ruud van Nistelrooy 6/4
Graham Potter 5/2
David Moyes 7/1
Mark Robins 12/1
Carlos Corberan 14/1
Michael Carrick 18/1

I would echo the fact that this sacking seems harsh.

However, to pivot to Steve Cooper, the Leicester mercury article on yesterday’s game makes interesting reading in the context of what Cooper said about our club under Warnock after Warnock made comments about the officials and Coopers father. The newspaper makes the accusation that Cooper has used regular criticism of refs as a smokescreen for his teams poor performances:

“It’s hard to know what Cooper’s persistent pelting of referees hopes to achieve. Is it just a distraction technique…”

Which in the context of what he said about us when he was Swansea boss is giving “karmic justice” vibes (as the gen z might say).

Would you have him at Boro if we lost Carrick?

Be nice to support a classy team.
