One of the surprises to be announced tomorrow?
How does that work? I hope you're right but the opposite might happen.Hopefully Forest go up and drive the price up a bit more
If they are willing to pay more than anyone else then we get a bigger transfer feeHow does that work? I hope you're right but the opposite might happen.
That’s a very good point. If Forest go up and only want to pay £10m, and Spence wants to go to Forest, then there is nothing we can do about it, even if Arsenal offer £20m. Our only option is to tell him to play in our Reserves until the end of his contract. Players have all the power in situations like that.Spence is definitely gone. Who has the final say where he goes? Lets say Arsenal offer 20 mil but Bayern offer 25 but Spence doesn't want to go to Bayern , can we insist that he does.
At a lower level Morsy didn't want to leave but we sold even though under contract. Can clubs do this ?

So actually nothing we can do about it then? If he refuses to sign for someone other than Forest? There's plenty we can do about it, unless you think that London born Spence is so loyal to Nottingham Forest that he'd turn down a move to a bigger and better club in his hometown and stay on Teesside because of 9 months in the Midlands.
A big if. More likely they will offer low and hope Spence forces the move.If they are willing to pay more than anyone else then we get a bigger transfer fee
