Why do you think he'd be so desperate to go to Forest, even if they did go up ?

He's from London, isn't a Forest fan and has spent only 9 months in the city - why would he be so determined to stay there ?

He'll go where the money is, and he'll probably fail as he's had 1 really good season since he turned professional.

That’s a very good point. If Forest go up and only want to pay £10m, and Spence wants to go to Forest, then there is nothing we can do about it, even if Arsenal offer £20m. Our only option is to tell him to play in our Reserves until the end of his contract. Players have all the power in situations like that.

No they don't. He is Djed Spence not Mbappe.
If Arsenal want him, they will pay him more than Forest too, its back in London and he will go there.
His ego wouldn't let him not sign for Bayern.
The more clubs that want Spence the better.
