an extra £2.5m doesn’t seem that much to me.
Lucky you.

'There was talk....'There was talk of Spurs being interested at £10m when Mourinho was manager at Spurs.

I think you were in the wrong room for a arguement ...........as monty Python onces askedWhat exactly is going on here? Are you looking for an argument?
In no way am I having a go at the club. Like I had said, it's just the way circumstances have presented themselves. It's unfortunate. Perhaps if Spence hadn't been so set on alienating himself from clubs other than Spurs, we might have got more. It's frustration more than anything.
Despite all that I'm just pleased we've manged to shift him on.
HmmmHave we really just got 12.5 million for Djed Spence?
Not bad at all for a guy who cost us nothing and could not get a regular first team place.
And that's it.Wilder openly said yesterday that the 'issue' around free is simply because it was a one horse race.
Nobody else wanted him after he made it clear he'd only join spurs. So very little leverage for the selling club (us).
It's completely different if Spurs / Forest / Arsenal and the various other clubs wanted him. They would all be bidding against each other and offering more to secure him.
He clearly wants to return to London. I'm sure I read on a forest twitter comment that he'd bought a house in London.
The easiest deal would have been Forest. Yet it appears despite his 'love' it was never even a option.
Been pictured in a Spurs top; there's a picture circulating of him sitting in a studio with it on. So must be 99% sorted - Gibson waiting for the cheque to clear.Apologies for being out of the loop.
But the deal is not actually officially done yet is it? (I'm getting the jitters that we'll actually never be shot of the lad!)
Just been reading some of the Facebook comments on a Forest page.
The bitterness is quite evident. They're "not bothered" anymore as they've now "upgraded with a better player".
No more taunting Boro fans.
Not like they weren't told. Looks like the penny has dropped.
his love and his joy at winning promotion was purely for himself and he knew he would be playing in the prem, and earning prem wagesWilder openly said yesterday that the 'issue' around free is simply because it was a one horse race.
