Someone has to mention the elephant in the room

Southampton have themselves to blame here. They have managed to create so many opportunities, yet their attackers must have spent a week watching Balogun and Connolly's greatest misses from last season.

What no pitch invasion ...

I guess you wouldnt want to risk losing your season ticket/day out at Wembley

Got £930 riding on them winning the cup, but after the skunfest Sky served up tonight I can't cheer those fckers on to go win it.

A gibbering chimp would be better than Moore, Motson, Davies and - dare I even say it - Gubba, to be fair.
Hard to disagree my friend but Motty and Bazza Davies are pearls apart from
Dicksplash Matterface and his pre rehearsed commentaries though.

Do disagree on Brian Moore though. He was half decent.

Hope the Mags win the final to totally pi$$ their “rivals” off 😜
The delusional one’s up the road that don’t know any Boro fans and that are unlikely to play against their “ rivals” in the league for the foreseeable future 🤣

I think you're missing my point. Gibbering chimps would be a new high water mark.

Bloody frustrating evening - although I'd probably rather they shell out to get to Wembley and lose there than go out in the semis. Their best player being missing should (hopefully) take the shine off what should "wor momentous occasion like".

Appreciate they're likely to win something eventually with the blood money but I'd like that to be as far away in the future as possible.

Bruno won’t miss you he final but he will miss the next 3 PL games which could dent their progress in the top 4

Ah right, didn't realise that. Never mind, still think Utd *should* have enough to do them in the final.

I think their league form might fall off soon anyway. His current starting 11 is the definition of overperforming (credit to the Eddie Howe/Steve Bruce Hybrid for that). There's no way the likes of Longstaff and Willock are genuinely top 4 players. That said, they've got even better players in reserve currently.

As much as i hate the thought of the Geordies winning anything, having to admit I want Man united to win has made me be a bit sick in my mouth 🤢🤢

I'm pretty ambivalent to them now, we've had so long outside the top flight it doesn't feel like much of a rivalry anymore.

I know its dirty money they have as well but I don't mind Eddie Howe either and they are on a different planet to us at the moment.
