So who went to the pub?

So who went to the pub yesterday. I am not talking about a family meal in a pub restaurant, but for a few pints with the lads and what was your experience like?

I have just seen the headline on the BBC News web page and the pictures of crowds gathering in Soho - not a mask in sight.

Who gave permission for a 'street pub' in Soho. They're to blame.

‘Not a mask in sight’ - they have been told there is no need for a mask.
They have been told to go and enjoy themselves at the pub

And, btw, have you tried drinking with a mask on

i went out for a couple of pints at noon - all very civilised.

I did not go out last night but the virtue signalling on this board by the expected people who are still in denial on this board needs to take a step back. You're sounding more and more like tyrants.
Now let's do the sensible thing and open the gyms so people can get healthy and prepare for winter.

I am sure for every one establishment that behaved like that in Soho, there are several others that behaved impeccably and it was 'all very civilised.' I'm not question people going to the pub, I am questioning how the minority behaved.

Edit: I meant to say that I have stood along that street on many occasions, but would question my own sanity to do it at the moment.

I ordinarily go out in Yarm on a Saturday afternoon for footy and elected not to . Mates texted me saying it was dead . Mind That was the afty which is a different beast to the night .

What’s the point though?
In a wonderful way wouldn’t it have been brilliant had there been no media footage anywhere of the tiny minority.
Just imagine if we had woken up to scenes of great service, people distanced, and wonderful comments.

We were all fearing carnage - the real story was millions behaving really well

But isn't this what the sensible wanted to see and why I asked the question on other peoples experience.

That’s not racey enough for media I suspect

Yeah I'm still yet to see any pictures on the news this morning of rammed A+E's.

Funny how people who have gone to the pub and restaurants are an easy target but nothing said about those who queued up in the masses outside of hairdressers.

I'm off to work in an hour after 100+ days. Can't wait. 180 booked in today last I checked. Gonna be a great day.
