So much better 2nd half

It was like night and day. If we play with that intensity then we will be ok but if we play like in the first half then we're in big trouble.

Need a new manager urgently and it's not a job for a Rookie.

Agree with Maddo - Steffen MOM.

Absolutely - this is not a job for a rookie. Need someone with some experience. The more the games go by, the more I’m thinking our best shot is Carlos Corberan. I remember frequently hearing about how much the Huddersfield players loved him.
Get him in please.

Just stop it. We were shambolic both halves and Blackburn had the better chances and played far better than us in the first and second half. This stupid blind optimism is what gets us a management team of Cattermole, Agnew and the Clown.

Like people on here get to choose the next manager.

Watmore was the only player who played with any urgency in the first half.

Many of the players matched his urgency in the 2nd half but why can't we start games like that? We're the home team.

We go through this almost every match we lose this season.

Woeful in the first half and then look like we can get something in the second.

Something needs to change, it's both coaching and the players' attitude.

Not quite every match. Millwall last week we were dire first half and appalling the second half. It is obvious that we need leadership on and off the pitch.

It’s the players. Let’s be honest. Some of them are going to be working under their fourth manager(Howson’s sixth, McNair’s fifth). They’re getting managers sacked at a rate of one a season. It’s madness.

Maybe when Wilder said after Preston that some of them had reached the end of their time at the club, he was actually talking quite a lot of sense. I always thought he’d shift a few regulars, not the squad men(those who actually left). Maybe that’s where some of the tension came from. He wanted to clear it out but wasn’t allowed to do it. I don’t think he meant Peltier and Payero, I think he meant McNair, Dijksteel et al. Who knows though.

The next manager needs to root these players out and instil some pride and professionalism. Playing when you’re 0-2 or 0-3 down, it’s not good enough. And completely unsustainable.

Just after their second went in today......

I was appalled by the sight of Howson wondering round the centre circle with his hands on his hips, silent, head down, kicking the turf with his studs while 6 or 7 of the outfield were over on the touchline getting instructions from Leo. He's a pathetic excuse for a Captain and as the gaping hole in the midfield is one of our biggest failings it's not like he's delivering on anything else either.

The only positive I can give him is that his slight frame and aerobic fitness allow him to cover more ground, and to be slightly more influential later in games when opposition midfielders are sitting in or blowing.

He’s captain because he’s a good pro and there’s nobody else worthy of it. Who would be wearing the armband out of this group? There’s nobody.

He's a great professional but he lost his discipline in the 1st half. Booted the ball against an advertising board and took one of their players out in frustration - couldn't blame the lad for refusing to shake his hand after Howson tried to apologise.

He's not a leader.
