So how do we decide who to let in, in October then

I thought last year we had around 14k season ticket holders? So we would be relying on a high drop off of non renewals to get all ST holders in the ground next season. Unless I'm missing something?

Also, as I've just posted on a similar thread is this not where the loyalty points scheme would come into play as it was talked about being used 'for high demand games'?
I think a lot of older ST holders wont risk it personally.

It's never gonna be gold card holders as the club won't be able to comply with social distance and bring you all your refreshments to your seats.

Needs to be people like me, turn up 10 minutes after kick off, leave 10 minutes before half time, arrive 10 minutes late for the second half and leave 10 minutes before full time to miss the traffic.

No probs Gibbo says he thinks he's had it so is ok serving the smoked salmon sarnies to the gold card elite.

the over 70yr old ban will wipe out half the gold cards straight away, how do they socially distance people, as the reason for the 25% attendance would be to spread people as far as possible, through the 4 stands, I assume there won't be any away fans next season, so can social bubbles sit together, if so, how will they draw up a seating plan that meets all criterias, what could possibly go wrong, with the superb planning team down at MFC....

theyll notify you by email........the day after the game

If everyone else is like me post lockdown it will simply be a case of if you can fit through the turnstile you’re in!

Just keep it shut till were all allowed in. Im a gold card by the way. But all or nothing for me. 👍

Interesting suggestion and I wouldn't be against it, the atmosphere would be very strange with a few thousand sat miles apart from one another in that massive stadium so we probably wouldn't miss much anyway.

Raise the roof, Increase the stadium capacity to 64,000 and just fill it with the 16,000 season ticket holders.. it'll be cheaper to build because we wont have to put as many seats in ; ) When everything returns to normal sell the season tickets off at half price for the full capacity and make more money on the kiosks.

I don't overly think this is as massive an issue as some clubs. We are pretty much just above 50-60% full most weeks. So you could almost have a distance in terms of seating ect.

You clearly have to give tickets (or majority) to ST holders. Then probably a ballot type thing for anyone else. You would have to make it as fair as possible. If you get selected for one home game then not eligible for the next.

I still think some people will be not that fussed about going. People over 70 or with under lying heath conditions may give it a miss. Also people may have strict financial circumstances due to loss of jobs etc. So simply can't go.

Imagine the likes of Leeds and Liverpool etc trying to sort it out. It's not like we remotely sell out each week.

If we have 16,000 season tickets, space them out with so there is a gap between every supporter. Don't sell any away tickets and give the option of higher risk season ticket holders to retain their seats but pay a reduced rate for a 'Digital Season Tickets' - so you pay something like £100 for home matches on £200 for a home and away 'Digital Season Ticket'

Sell all the empty seats you can't fill as 'Digital Season Tickets' with the option of reserving your seat for the following season (should everything get back to normal by then. Charge the council for Drive In Licences were they can show the matches at places like the big screen at Mima Gardens under social distancing rules.

Have Xmas Bundle packs where you get '2021 Digital Seasons Cards' (that you can renew each Xmas), a Membership Card, Signed Team Photo, Replica Home Shirt with custom name and number. All presented in a smart Red Box with Red tissue in it with a letter from Steve Gibson. Better still you get a QA code that takes you to a personalized merry Xmas message from one of the players or staff.

I don't think too many fans will be a problem next season. Sitting pretty much on your own in a two-thirds empty freezing Riverside doesn't sound a very appealing offer to me.
