Oh yes, I see the post from the admin person now. I missed that out. Still, didn't think they done anything like that apart from straight block/temp ban etc, and found it a bit odd.

Not to worry then, all good!

But no, rest of what I posted isn't a joke. It's really what can happen to a browser/causing slow loading etc and seeing certain kinds of ads etc can be a sign of viruses

It's just as I had not heard of accounts being running slowing as having to stand on 'naughty step' so thought otherwise and thought an anti-virus check may be in order (y)

Never mind. Appears not then. Was only a thought.

I'm off it.... iflagged some posts that I thought unreasonable. I thought you were abit dismissive in your reply hence I was quite offended. I did nothing wrong and my search history isn't anything to do with it... im a working mum and this is my daughters tablet 6 year old so no its not that

It did sound dismissive in tone on hindsight .. stuff written in text always does on msg boards, I was just trying to suggest it could otherwise be a virus as I'd never heard anything like an account slowing down for reasons you stated ... appears I was wrong!

Please do not be offended, it wasn't intented that way, if anything was trying to have a craic at the end of my first post, as I knew you didn't mean anything like that, was just related to the details that led up to my first suggestion and I jumped to conclusions to start off with trying to help.

Never mind .. glad it isn't anything like a virus then, all good. I'm sorry I irked you, I really didn't mean to do that (y) (y)

It just seems a pointless thing if that is what they do but it appears the admin has said they have done. I thought any accounts under review etc would just be on a restricted kind of account or outright banned temporarily until otherwise.

Haha, just found it a bit odd, that is all. Not from the initial poster, just odd that if that is true what admin do, then it's the first I've known.
 
It could just be that the posts are held until they're moderated by an admin. There could be a time limit set in case there's no admin available to moderate the post. Or it could be the admin tool is using AI to analyse intent within the post. Either would appear to slow down the post to a greater or lesser extent. Especially if the AI service had some kind of quota mechanism.
