That photograph is the shop from Stockton, Silver street.Don't recognise this shop - where was it? I remember Chips being upstairs above a shop on Linthorpe Rd in the late 80s. My Grandma worked in a bridal wear shop on the corner of Linthorpe Rd and King Edward's Rd and Chips was opposite, so I used to go in to see her and then pop over the road to buy Amstrad and later Amiga games.
Yep, on the corner, about one block down from Beeline Coaches and opposite WinterschlagensEston. Jubilee Road iirc.
Fantastic shop, I used to buy Airfix and Revell model kits from there. I seem to remember they had toys and pans hanging up outside. The front windows were packed also. Sad to see that stretch of Linthorpe Road nowadays.Nelsons toy shop.
And in The NetherlandsDefinitely still a thing in Portugal too , there's a C and A in faro shopping outlet ( was five years ago anyway )
