Bloody hell
Did that used to be on the corner opposite were McDonalds is now on Linthorpe Road?
Think NatWest have their branch there now
There was a shop on, I think Benson Street in Linthorpe that sold 2nd hand Hornby and scalextric. Me and my brother used to spend all of our money in there. We had boxes and boxes of track and cars. Sure they also fixed TVs. Sure I have some in the loft still. Might need to look tomorrow.Spent hours in there while my dad was on the top floor going through the music section for opera records. Brilliant shop, I'd spend most of the time going through the Subbuteo teams
Yep I remember that shop. Used to go into it after I’d been in Tony’s. It was a two word name but I can’t remember what. Banana Republic or something like that. Can anyone remember a 'boutique' on Redcar High St, opp the bus station, late 1970s? Run by couple with a Great Dane.
