Just started watching it. What an astonishing cast!

I thought it was interesting having the Tory candidate mentioning Ashfield having a Tory MP now.

It's that loudmouth '30p a meal' Lee Anderson, whose father was a Nottinghamshire miner. So was he for 10 years. He was also a member of the Labour Party.

the only character i didn't get was the train driver. His just came across as a nerdy looser with no redeemable features, the whole getting caught watching porn on Bluetooth, was just silly and unnecessary.

Yeah that never played out. No idea why he was shot at in his cab or why he went over the top mentally
But the story was loosely based in reality, so there was maybe a character like that? But yep, the only poor bit
