I was privileged to have been present at the MCG in December 2006 when Shane Warne departed his home ground field for the very last time in a test match. 40000 stood to applaud him off that afternoon Including me.
A couple of weeks later I was very lucky to be witness to his last ever test match - played at the SCG and appropriately it was an emphatic win against England making it 5-0 in the series. A truly special player.
