Secret Santa FFS

Roofie makes an excellent suggestion. Just get a cheap card and add a note along the lines of "I've made a donation to [insert foodbank name] on your behalf".
It'd be even better if you could persuade others to do the same as secret Santa is all about anonymity and the people needing the foodbanks help would never know who'd donated.
Actually - I had`nt thought that sophisticated - but Il do that over the weekend. (y)

Man, I hate secret santa in the office. Nevertheless, I've been roped in against my will.

Anyone got ideas for £10ish gifts?
yeah really hate it myself feels really cringey and embarrassing they terrify me, opted out of the last one at work came across as a right miserable b***r but what can you do

I've just opted opted out of mine for the first time in a few years
The sheer unadulterated joy of saying no was pretty empowering...and now I'm free...free for ever from the hassle and worry of what to get is it enough should I wrap it will they pike it....f%%% that says I
I'm free

Pair of slippers and a dildo, if they don't like the slippers they can go f*** themselves.

In all seriousness, the food bank donation is a great idea.

I did it last year and managed to leave my present on the bus.

I didn't have a clue who my secret santa was, so it was awkward when staff members asked me what I'd got and I was unsure if they were trying to catch me out.

We just spend the money that would have been spent on a rubbish gift by going out for a couple of pints together in the last week before Christmas break. Job done.

Secret Santa FFS

Foodbank donation it is. Thanks all (y) I wonder if it'll be the only one, given the current economic climate

It's a horrible experience though, I often wondered if EVERYONE felt like this, or if it was just me. To me it feels like a situation engineered specifically to induce anxiety. It's probably less daunting if you're pished I guess.
